The French School in Sharm El Sheikh, which was founded in 1993 by a parent, is the francophone hub of South Sinai. It now has 75 students enrolled for the current school year and covers classes starting from TPS (pre-foundation) to Première L (grade 11). Each class is made-up of small groups of students of various nationalities. Egyptian students may also attend the school after the families request and receive the approval by the Egyptian Ministry of Education.
